Kakai Bautista admitted that she almost quit showbiz in the past because of her former co-star Mario Maurer.
The comedian revealed in an interview with PEP published today, August 15, that she hasn’t communicated with Mario since 2015.
Kakai also revealed that she reached a point where she almost quit showbiz because of all the controversy around their friendship.
Muntik na akong mag-quit ng showbiz noon. Kasi first time kong ma-ganoon," she admitted.
Kakai and Mario worked together in the 2012 rom-com "Suddenly It's Magic" with Erich Gonzales.
She currently stars in the Cathy Garcia-Molina film "Hello, Love, Goodbye" alongside Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards. It is now showing in cinemas nationwide!
Also part of the cast are Maymay Entrata, Jameson Blake, Joross Gamboa, Lovely Abella, and Jeffrey Tam.
