Liza Soberano remains in therapy, according to her manager, comedian Ogie Diaz.
In an article published by the Manila Times today, June 25, the talent manager revealed that the actress is still in the United States to continue therapy and treatment for her injured finger.
It may be recalled that Liza withdrew from portraying the role of Darna in the upcoming Jerrold Tarog reboot after sustaining an injury while doing a stunt for the hit fantaserye "Bagani."
According to Ogie, a new antibiotic was administered to the actress through her PICC (peripherally inserted central catheter) line, and the results are still being monitored. The PICC is a long, soft, and flexible tube being used to supply medication, nutrients, and fluids, and to take blood samples.
Ogie hoped for Liza to return home soon, but the decision of when she’ll fly back to the Philippines will depend on her doctors.
He said, "But God willing, Liza will come home this July.”
Earlier this month, the young star revealed that she suffered from a bone infection which caused delays in her surgery.
Following her treatment, Liza is set to do reunion projects with her real-life partner, Enrique Gil, including a teleserye and a movie.
She became a part of "Bagani" in 2018 and was last seen in the blockbuster hit "Alone/Together" which premiered last February.
Get well, Liza! We hope to see you soon!
