Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson’s worlds collided once again — this time on “It’s Showtime” where the actress serves as host.
Gerald visited the noontime program as a guest judge for one of the segments, and you best believe Kim’s “It’s Showtime” co-hosts peppered her with jokes and teasing. After, they noticed how Kim seemed to become unusually uncomfortable and aggressive on stage.
"Kahapon ang bait-bait mo. Ngayon parang iba ka na. Bakit ba?" asked Ryan Bang who was the first to notice the actress' behavior.
Vhong Navarro then defended Kim, saying that she was probably just tired from their opening number.
Billy Crawford also threw in his two cents, saying that Kim must be feeling pressure because veteran director Bobet Vidanes was also sitting as a judge.
Although Kim tried to shift the subject away to interviewing the contestant present at that time, she didn't succeed and instead, got teased some more.
"Alam niyo, ang OA niyo guys," Kim joked, and nearly walked out after getting all embarrassed.
She added, "Alam niyo kayo, ang lala niyo."
She then resorted to asking Direk Bobet for his help but his fellow judge, Ruffa Gutierrez, also joined in on the fun and teased Gerald by saying that he, too, is getting all red.
"Direk, ayoko na," said Kim drawing laughter from the hosts and audience.
Kim and Gerald, collectively known as Kimerald by their fans, teamed up in a number of romance movies in the past including "I've Fallen For You", "Paano Na Kaya", and "Til My Heartaches End". They reunited in the 2017 morning series “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibingin.”
Gerald will star in the upcoming Black Sheep-produced film "Between Maybes" alongside Julia Barretto, which will open in cinemas on May 15.
