The "Quezon's Game" trailer officially launched yesterday, May 4, and it gave us a glimpse of the past unknown to most of us.
Raymond Bagatsing, who portrays the role of former president Manuel L. Quezon, really stood out in the trailer as he fought for the rights of Jewish Refugees seeking shelter in the country.
According to the film's director Matthew Rosen, "Quezon's Game" took 10 years to make with all the research he did to make sure he got the facts right and portray it as accurately as possible.
Prior to the film's premiere in the country, "Quezon's Game" already raked in awards from various International Film Festivals including Cinema Worldfest AUTUMN Awards in Canada, IndieFilm Festival in California, and WorldFest-Houston International Film and Video Festival in Texas.
"Quezon's Game" also stars Rachel Alejandro. It opens in Philippine cinemas on May 29.
