If you’re still getting used to Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla working on separate projects, then you’re not alone.
In an interview with PEP recently, Daniel revealed that he, too, had a hard time adjusting to his recent on-screen separation from his girlfriend. KathNiel, as they are known to their fans, have been working together on the big screen and on television for years before finally deciding that it was time to take on individual projects this 2019.
For Kathryn, that meant a new movie with a new leading man: “Hello, Love, Goodbye” with Alden Richards, which is slated to hit cinemas this year.
Daniel said.
He continued, “"Hindi naman kami naghihiwalay na ganung katagal. Imagine niyo ‘yung araw-araw kayo magkasama ng ilang taon, tapos biglang—pak! And then suddenly, this happened."
“And also, that is growth, hindi ba? So, kinailangan kong maintindihan ‘yun. Hundred percent support, siyempre.”
"That's mi amor. Walang problema."
KathNiel last worked together in the record-breaking blockbuster hit “The Hows of Us”.
