Tony Labrusca defends kleptomania revelation: ‘It’s human to make mistakes’

Tony Labrusca is only human.

The actor is under fire online after revealing that he had kleptomaniac tendencies when he was younger on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” last April 30. After the interview, he took to Twitter to clear the air, seemingly disappointed at viewers’ reception towards his past mistakes.

“Some of you guys are so quick to judge. I shared my flaws on ‘TWBA’ because I’m sharing my HUMANITY with you. It’s human to make mistakes and those mistakes teach you very valuable lessons. TRUST me I’ve experienced that first hand. I admitted to Tito Boy that I used to steal FOOD and CLOTHES I could not AFFORD. I never said it was right nor am I proud of it,” he explained.

According to Tony, he will be paying back every item he had once stolen now that he can “afford” them.

He continued, “NO ONE is perfect. So stop acting like it. We all make mistakes. Your mistakes aren’t what define you as a person, it’s the effort you put into changing for the better every day.”

Tony was part of the Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla-led action-drama series “La Luna Sangre”. He also topbilled the 2018 Dreamscape Digital’s “Glorious” with Angel Aquino. The film was released on iWant.
