She may be a familiar face for some, but 26-year-old Krissha Viaje refuses to sit on her laurels.
The GT member tried her luck on “Idol Philippines” last May 12, belting out a beautiful rendition of the Itchyworms original “‘Di Na Muli.” It’s safe to say Krissha didn't fail to impress the judges, although they pointed out ways she can still improve as a singer.
"Performance-wise, there's still a lot more you can do but you can really grow from what you have right now," James Reid said.
Even Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez was wowed by her performance. She enthused, "I'm very impressed. Feeling ko lang meron ka pang kayang ibigay pa kasi parang [nervous na nervous] ka.”
Krissha’s "It's Showtime" ~mom~ Vice Ganda was very proud of her performance in spite of admitting that he was nervous for his "anak-anakan".
"Sa narinig ko mula sa kanila, natutuwa ako. Ang panalanagin ko lang, galingan mo pa lalo. 'Wag ka magpagapi sa takot [at] sa kaba," he said.
Krissha received approval from all four judges and will now proceed to Idol City.

Krissha is currently an active member of GT, formerly known as GirlTrends, on "It's Showtime". They recently debuted their first group single "Breakthrough".
