Anne Curtis has mixed feelings about her upcoming project with Vice Ganda, and all of them point in a positive direction.
It’s a lot of excitement and a lot of fear for the multi-hyphenate actress, who in recent years has become known for taking on more serious dramatic roles for the big screen. You know what that means: a huge Christmastime comedy is a new undertaking, one Anne seems glad to take on.
She revealed, “Alam mo kinakabahan nga ako kasi if you look at the films that I did last year, ‘di ba? I did a lot of serious films so it’s going to be a different genre for me, full of comedy. So kinakabahan po ako, but I know naman that I’ll be safe in the hands of Vice...I think more than anything, especially the film industry is super booming now, what matters now is you make amazing films that you are able to bring happiness to people who watch them.”
As for feeling any pressure to rake in big numbers on the box office, Anne seems especially unbothered, answering succinctly, “Having a box office [hit] is just a cherry on the top!”
Anne and Vice announced their upcoming film on “It’s Showtime”, which they both host, last April 26. According to the pair, they will be teaming up as a way to “give back” to their leagues of loyal fans as the noontime program celebrates its 10th year on air.
