Kathryn Bernardo might just be the best girlfriend ever. As in, kung hindi man siya ang top, she’s definitely in the top three.
The actress, who has been in Hong Kong filming for her upcoming romantic comedy “Hello, Love, Goodbye”, flew back to Manila yesterday, April 25, to make a surprise appearance at her boyfriend Daniel Padilla’s birthday party. Yes, Kathryn did THAT. Now let us all take some time to thank God for inventing social media because we can actually watch the entire surprise play out on Instagram.
That hug? Lasted forever. Just like KathNiel will. Ayieeeee!
KathNiel was pretty much plastered to each other’s side for the entire party. Kathryn even joined Daniel on the stage and together, they gave us a duet of the Orange and Lemons classic “Hanggang Kailan (Umuwi Ka Na Baby)” because they really are trying to kill us with kilig.
Oh, and remember how we said Kathryn was the best girlfriend ever? Here’s some proof: in spite of the distance, she invited Orange and Lemons to perform in the party. The band’s manager Antonette Maniquis even have her a thank you shoutout on Instagram!
She wrote, “Surprise gig for the band and the birthday boy. Thank you, @bernardokath, for inviting us.”

KathNiel topbilled the 2018 record-breaking hit “The Hows of Us” which was directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
