When we opened JM de Guzman's live Instagram stream last night, April 1, we thought we were signing up for just a regular Q & A. That is not what happened.
As a fun little prank on April Fools' Day, the actor and his "Last Fool Show" co-star Arci Munoz staged a fake argument that was so convincing, it had our hearts racing. It all started when Arci referred to JM as her "bro" multiple times on the stream. The actress is well known for maintaining professional friendships with her leading men. Who can forget when she jokingly told Vice Ganda "hindi ako magpapaloko" when asked whether she'll ever consider her "Always Be My Maybe" on-screen partner Gerald Anderson for a real-life romance? So of course, she treats JM the same way and rather proudly told their Instagram, "UP days pa lang kami, brotherhood na kami ni JM."
JM went on to act all offended that he had been "bro-zoned" and started raising his voice. He even walked out of the Q & A! It was insane.
In the end, they revealed it was all a huge joke pero seryoso, may slight kaba kaming naramdaman. Loko-loko 'tong dalawang 'to!
This hilarious duo's upcoming rom-com "Last Fool Show" directed by Edong Roy Jr. will hit cinemas this April 10.
