Explore the beauty of Taiwan
While the highly celebrated Gay Pride Parade featured in "Ang Dalawang Mrs Reyes" isn't until October, there are a lot more things you can do in Taiwan.
Make sure to visit the real-life “Spirited Away” location in Jiufen, the jaw-dropping Niagara Falls of Taiwan, or stroll around the old streets of Shifen.
Go island hopping in Siargao
Sinilaban island in the 2018 film “Sin Island” may be fictional, but we found an equally beautiful and peaceful counterpart - Siargao!
From there, you can go island hopping to Naked Island, Guyam Island, Daku Island, and Magpupungko where you can also relax a la Tasha (Nathalie Hart) by the beach and do yoga!
Take a dip in Zambales’ remote coves
Remember when we all wanted to swim with Abi (Pia Wurtzbach) and Burn (Gerald Anderson) in what seems to be untouched river of Happy Sunshine Camp? Well, you actually can because the place actually exists and it’s only situated hours from the metro in Masinloc, Zambales.
The secret paradise will offer you a fresh take on summer break, especially if you’re not a fan of long drives and crowded beaches.
Stroll around the 10,000 LED Roses in Cebu
Cebu has always been a top summer destination in the country and for good reason. Other than the famous beaches and falls it offers, 2018’s “Kasal” gave us a glimpse of the local version of Korea’s LED Rose Garden - the 10,000 Roses Café. Perfect if beaches aren’t really your thing!
Catch the tulips in full bloom in Amsterdam
While George (Kathryn Bernardo) wasn’t able to see the tulips in bloom in “The Hows of Us,” you certainly can! Tulip season is from March to May!
