Mikhail Red's 'Eerie,’ ipapalabas sa Italian Film Fest!

After its successful world premiere in Singapore last December, “Eerie” is now headed for Europe as it joins the Far East Film Festival in Udine, Italy.

The film starring Charo Santos-Concio and Bea Alonzo will compete against 75 other films from renowned filmmakers.

Direk Mikhail Red's horror masterpiece is his official entry to the third edition of Focus Asia 2019 in Udine. It is part of the All Genres Project Market which is dedicated to "films of tomorrow" with a high potential for co-production or co-financing in Europe or Asia.

In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, Direk Mikhail shared how he uses his films as a channel to deliver his message to people. He said, "I want to reach the mass local audience in order to affect social change but every project I do must still have legs internationally."

“Eerie” will be joined by three other local films including Chito Roño's "Signal Rock", Dan Villegas' "Heaven's Waiting", and Joyce Bernal's "Miss Granny".

The film fest will run from April 26 to May 4.
