With her striking charisma and versatile acting, Maja Salvador is easily one of the netizen's top picks to take on "Darna," alongside the likes of Nadine Lustre and Pia Wurtzbach.
In a recent report by PEP, Maja shared that she was both shocked and happy to know that many find her fit for the role.
"Natutuwa ako. Nagulat ako, nakahiga lang ako nung gabing 'yun, trending ako," said Maja.
She then learned that many had been tweeting about her as what they picture as Darna, but she chose to stay quiet out of respect for Liza Soberano's decision to withdraw from the project.
But while she appreciates those who root for her, she's quite hesitant whether she'll accept it if it's offered to her, believing that it would be a lot of pressure for the next chosen actress.
Maja starred in the 2018 Black Sheep-produced romance "To Love Some Buddy" alongside Zanjoe Marudo.
