Chito Miranda took a trip down memory lane, reminiscing about Parokya Ni Edgar's first and only grand concert way back 2007 with Gloc 9 and the late King of Pinoy Rap Francis Magalona in their "Bagsakan" concert.
On Facebook, Chito revealed that he thought that it was “not cool” for them to have a grand concert as he wanted Parokya to stay as low-key as possible in spite of their mainstream success.
"Gusto ko ma-maintain 'yung garage band feel/status ng banda kasi feeling ko mas ‘cool’, and at the same time, mas mababa ang expectations sa banda na hindi major act," said Chito.
He continued, "And honestly, ayoko lang din siguro aminin, pero ayoko 'yung pressure of doing a major concert kasi takot ako na baka walang manood."
In the post, the vocalist of "Parokya ni Edgar" also revealed that he suffered from sore eyes on the day of their concert.
"Pagkagising ko may sore eyes na ko. Pero ngayong napanood ko na (yup...ngayon ko lang 'to napanood), di naman pala halata! 😂"
He also recalled how his co-performer Francis M flew from a gig in Hong Kong to be part of the show, and arrived mere minutes before the concert started.
Chito tied the knot with Neri Naig in 2014. They now shared a two year old son Miggy.
