Juan Karlos Labajo quits social media!

Juan Karlos Labajo has deleted his Twitter and Facebook accounts as fire for his controversial "pagmumura" incident continues to grow.

The incident happened last March 1 at the Rakrakan 2019: 2 Days of Love, Peace & Music Festival, where the "Buwan" singer was caught on video cursing after a heckler got on his nerves. In a statement made on Instagram Stories yesterday, March 7, Karlos addressed the "unfair" nature of the controversy, writing, "Hmm bakit pag si *insert sikat na girl artista* ay nagmura, sinasabi ng tao ang cute di nila sinasabi na unprofessional and all?"

He continued, "Pero 'yung tipong 'pag ako ang nagmura ang dami-dami nang sinasabi. Lumaki na ang ulo, nagbago na, mayabang na, etc. etc. Unfair man.”

According to Karlos, he will be making all future statements on Instagram, his only standing social media account.

Formerly known as JK, Karlos first shot to fame as a contestant in "The Voice Kids" Philippines back in 2014. He dipped his toe in acting alongside Bea Alonzo, Ian Veneracion, and Julia Barretto in the hit television series "A Love to Last." He has since transitioned back into music, forming the band juan karlos.
