Liza Soberano has opened up about her current relationship with younger brother, Justin Soberano, in an emotional interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" yesterday, March 5.
According to Liza, she had mixed feelings when Justin welcomed his first child last year at such a young age. She explained, "When I found out, of course, I was shocked! I cried, I didn't get mad at him, I got mad at the situation. He wasn't around when I found out so I guess I was able to let it kind of simmer down and then I talked to him."
She continued, "We had a heart-to-heart talk, I was crying. I was like, 'Now that you're going to be a dad you have to become more mature. Because it takes a different kind of maturity to become a father and raise a child, and I mean, dahil may anak na siya instantly kailangan na niya mag-mature agad. He has to think about more things aside from himself."
Her anger and confusion, she said, stemmed from fear of permanently losing her brother.
"The reason I was sadder when I found out is because parang mawawala na 'yung baby brother ko sa akin. He's going to become a man, and I'm gonna lose him. I'm gonna lose my baby...[but] we're good, we don't see each other as often," she revealed, tearfully.
