Here's a closer look on the locations of 'Alone/Together'

Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil's "Alone/Together" has showcased four of the most astonishing places both in the country and abroad. In an Instagram video interview with its director, Antoinette Jadaone shared why she chose these particular places.

1. Sunken Garden

"Naalala ko sa script na 'Christine is looking forward with her future bright'," Direk Tonet said. "So 'yung tama kasi nung sun sa bench is perfect dun sa description dun sa script."

Direk Tonet saw to it that she will get the perfect spot to represent Tin's dreams and aspirations.

2. National Museum

"'Yung Spoliarium, both the painting and the song of Eraserheads played a significant part in their love story," Direk Tonet shared. "They meet sa harap ng Spoliarium sa National Museum tapos may napag-usapan silang tungkol din sa Eraserheads".

The director also admitted that they encountered difficulties while shooting inside the museum.

"Pero nagawa namin sa tamang pagpapaliwanag kung bakit importante 'yung National Museum at Spoliarium sa pelikula."

3. Philippine International Convention Center

It was the structure of the PICC that made Direk Tonet go for it.

"It's really a work of art by itself. PICC was used in the film in the present time when Christine is already 27. Para meron pa ring touches of art,” she said.

4. New York City

New York was presented differently in "Alone/Together". To feature the lesser-showed landmarks of the city was the purpose of the movie.

"Meron kasi silang Museum Mile. Ang pinaka-distinguishing mark ng MET (Metropolitan Museum of Art) from outside ay 'yung steps. Gusto ko 'yung ganoong similarity ng AS steps sa UP at steps sa National Museum."
