Way before Kisses Delavin and Donny Pangilinan were one of the biggest love teams of the country (and one of our main ships), they were simply strangers, two kids who met and hit it off at a party. Her party, actually, thrown for her 18th birthday at the Shangri-La Hotel back in May 2017.

There, among Kisses’ family and friends, an intricately made Francis Libiran gown, and all things pink and blush, DonKiss found their unexpected beginning. In an interview with Star Studio, Kisses revealed that it was her handler Luz Bagalacsa who was responsible for putting them together.
She said, “[The fans] should thank Captain Luz kasi [siya] ’yung nakakita kay Donny ’tapos [tinanong] niya kung puwede akong i-escort pababa ng stairs. Then, Donny said yes.”

And the rest, as they say, is history. DonKiss went on to star in the millennial-geared drama "Walwal". They were also part of "Fantastica", the Vice Ganda-led comedy which took the 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival by storm back in December. It also starred Dingdong Dantes, Richard Gutierrez, Jaclyn Jose, Maymay Entrata, Edward Barber, Loisa Andalio, and Ronnie Alonte.
As for their television outings: they scored major parts in the Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo morning series “Playhouse.”
