WATCH: Here's how Bea Alonzo got her start in acting!

Before she was a Movie Queen, Bea Alonzo came from humble beginnings!

During a house tour, "Eerie" star Bea Alonzo detailed her journey as an actress and what made her decide to pursue fame. She took a trip down memory lane to remember her many firsts in the biz, including her first project with John Lloyd Cruz.

"Actually hindi na naaalala ng mga tao 'to, at hindi rin siya napalabas. Kay Direk Marilou Diaz Abaya sa 'Noon at Ngayon'," she told Star Magic in an interview posted last 2017 for their 25th anniversary. "At una kong ka-eksena si John Lloyd. Magkapatid kami."

She continued, "'Yung role ko naman sa 'Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay', 'yun 'yung first soap opera ko na pinagbibidahan nila Lorna Tolentiono at John Lloyd."

According to Bea, she was forced to grow and be more mature for the sake of her character. She shared, "I was only 14 and I had to play a 21-year-old law student pa. Mahirap kasi kailangan kong intindihin ang mga sinasabi ko and I had to [act like I] was a credible person. But it was fun."

Bea also remembered her first leading man back in the early days. She recalled, "Ang pinakauna kong love team ay si Dennis Trillo sa 'K2BU'."

The 2002 TV series also starred Pia Wurtzbach, Angelene Aguilar, and Shaina Magdayao.

When asked about what she loved the most in portraying different and challenging roles, Bea enthused, "Every character kasi na ginagawa ko, there is a part of me na naiiwan dun sa character. Kasi it will never be organic kung walang parte ni Bea na meron kay Basha ['One More Chance'], kay Sari ['The Mistress'], kay Andeng ['A Love to Last']."
