Janella Salvador is standing tall on her own.
In a recent interview with PUSH, the actress opened up about her mental health woes following her professional split from on-screen partner Elmo Magalona.
She revealed, "It got to a point na nawalan ako ng confidence sa sarili ko. I got depressed, I did. I went through a lot. Broke me in many ways. But then after a while, I realized no one else can fix me but myself.”
Right now, Janella values her independence most of all and is in no rush to attach herself to any permanent love team for future projects. She said, “Not right now. I’m willing to work with different actors and actresses but I guess I’m going to have to stay away from the love team notion muna. People may get very attached when it’s a love team. And I don’t think I’m ready for that again."
Janella Salvador was part of the 2017 horror-thriller "Bloody Crayons" ensemble cast including Jane Oineza, Maris Racal, Ronnie Alonte, Sofia Andres, Diego Loyzaga, Yves Flores, and Empoy Marquez.
She released her new single "Take It Easy" last March 22. Have a listen here:
