Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil's "Alone/Together" is enjoying a successful run in cinemas, racking in P370 million (and counting!) worldwide. They looked back on their journey from production to certified blockbuster hit in the film's Thanksgiving Lunch. You can read their speeches below:
ENRIQUE GIL'S SPEECH:
Maraming, maraming salamat sa mga boss na andito ngayon kahit napaka-busy. Maraming, maraming salamat for the trust, the support, and for your time, thank you so much it's an honor.
Sinasabi ko 'to palagi whenever we do a film, it's always a risk, and I must say this was a risk very well taken so, maraming maraming salamat. I hope it's not our last with Black Sheep, and I hope to work again with Star Cinema soon and for a long, long time. Thank you guys so much, you are my family.
LIZA SOBERANO'S SPEECH:
[To our bosses,] thank you so much for being here today, thank you for trusting us all the time by giving us new movies and new teleseryes, for supporting us. We wouldn't have been able to do this film without you and to be able to make all our fans and everyone watching us happy and proud of us. Thank you for giving us that opportunity.
And of course, I want to thank also my manager Tito Ogie Diaz, my handler Tita Monch Novales, thank you for the guidance. Mr. Johnny Manahan and Tita Mariole Alberto, for helping us decide which movie or which path we want to take in our careers, thank you po so much. I want to thank the promo team of Star Cinema and of Black Sheep, thank you so much, because we really worked hard to promote this movie...thank you for working extra hard.
I want to thank everyone behind us right now, the Black Sheep team, and of course, Direk Tonet Jadaone and Direk Dan Villegas...thank you so much for trusting us, for believing in us. Especially to Direk Tonet, I know this story is very close to your heart and it's something that you wrote four, five years ago so it's really a big deal that you gave that story to us, you trusted us to...be a part of your dream. We really hope that we made you proud. To our co-actors, Sir Nonie Buencamino, Kuya Adrian Alandy, Miss Sylvia Sanchez, Ate Jasmine Curtis...thank you so much, you guys were incredible co-actors. I enjoyed every scene with all of you and you guys just made the whole movie extraordinary. I'm so happy to share this success with all of you and I hope it's never-ending. Thank you, I love you, guys!
