Ryza Cenon had some realizations about life following the sudden death of comedian Chokoleit.
"Hiniram lang talaga natin ang buhay natin kay God," she said in a recent report by PEP.
Ryza was among the performers present at the Kawayan Festival 2019 in Abra together with the late artist.
Ryza Cenon po,'" she said, recalling her first meeting with Chokoleit.
Ryza was with fellow "The General's Daughter" star Paulo Avelino at the stand-by area at the time.
While on stage, Ryza noticed the way Chokoleit sang during that night.
“Sobra hong napaka-professional ng taong 'yun," she added.
The next thing she knew, the comedian was taken by an ambulance after his performance.
Addressing the time when she received the sad news of his death at one in the morning, Ryza said, "Ang hirap po! Nakita kong umiyak 'yung promoter. Siya 'yung nagbabalita po kasi sa amin. So, kami, gusto man naming damayan kaya lang may show po kasi kami.
