Coco Martin makes good on his promise.
A day after he visited the wake of his late friend and former “Ang Probinsyano” co-star Kristoffer King, who died at 36 last February 23 after diabetes complications, and spoke to his widow Nikki Alegre about shouldering the funeral costs, the Kapamilya superstar wrote a check for P230,000. According to a recent report by PEP, Coco’s generosity could possibly put an end to Kristoffer’s family’s financial woes, as it would also cover their standing hospital bills and the cost of the wake.

Past reports indicated that Kristoffer’s funeral will be held on March 3 at the Manila Manila Memorial Park. However, Nikki is now considering the possibility of cremation after encountering a hiccup while securing land for her partner.
“May problema po sa lupa at saka sa papel. Hindi pa po kasi kami kasal. Naghahanap ng marriage contract...kaya ang isang option namin, ike-cremate na lang. Pero inaayos pa rin naman ngayon. Pag hindi naayos ang usapan doon, ike-cremate na lang siya,” she said in a recent interview with PEP.
Coco and Kristoffer were co-stars in Brillante Mendoza’s “Serbis” and ”Masahista”.
