At the recent press conference of "Familia Blondina", Marco Gallo, Kira Balinger, Xia Vigor, Chandal Videla and Shane Weinbergs shared how they related their personal lives to their respective characters, because they are all half-Filipinos both on and off-screen.
Child star Xia was four years old when she first arrived in the country, and just like her character, she also adored beauty vlogging.
Shane shared the same reaction as Xia, who also expressed her gratitude towards the people who treated her nicely.
"Iba po talaga 'yung mga tao dito. Mababait po," Shane confessed.
Kira, meanwhile, emphasized that she shared the same reaction as her character after leaving her UK home.
"I didn't even know what kind of culture the Philippines had. Walang masyadong activities," she related.
No one can understand me. 'Yung culture shock po talaga."
Meanwhile, Marco recalled his experiences after his "Pinoy Big Brother" days, saying, "When I went out (sa 'PBB') I had a lot of problems po kung paano makipag-usap sa mga tao. I had to explain my actions."
As for Chantal, the half-Pinoy, half-Spanish rookie actress was beyond grateful to finally debut in the big screen.
