This generation's Movie Queen Bea Alonzo celebrated her flaws by embracing her body insecurities.
Spotted in Coron, Palawan for a vacation, the actress took to Instagram yesterday, February 17, to share her struggles about her body image for the past years.
"I have always been the type who would choose not to post photos of myself in swimsuits, but since I declared this year as the year for CHANGE, I thought that maybe I should change the way I view myself," she wrote in the captions.
The "First Love" star also penned encouraging words addressed to those who are having the same issue.
"I want to forget about how I hated myself for being 'fat' in other people’s eyes and just remember the things that I love about my body."
With a goal to live more this year, Bea wanted everyone to see the importance of being confident in their own skin and to inspire others to never give up in improving one's physique.
Fellow actresses such as Liza Soberano, Anne Curtis, Iza Calzado, and TV host Bianca Gonzalez voiced their support to the beautiful actress.
Here's more proof that Bea deserves to be everyone's (beach) body peg!
So much hearts for these posts!
Bea stars in the upcoming Mikhail Red-helmed horror "Eerie" alongside Charo Santos. It opens in cinemas March 27.
