Diego Loyzaga is so lucky to have a mom who knows exactly what to say and do during difficult times.
In a recent report by PEP, Teresa Loyzaga shared her message of encouragement to her son, who is currently spending time away from the spotlight.
“You know who you are. You are better than that," Teresa said, addressing the rumors that Diego is battling with depression. "And look, you have lived so far in your life, you don’t need somebody to tell you who you are, what can you do, or what you cannot do."
It's also the same advice she gives herself whenever she feels low, and she believes it's something everyone needs to hear.
"Don’t let anyone determine who and what you are," she added.
Following his exit from "Los Bastardos" last November, Diego has been spotted in Milan with his family. (https://starcinema.abs-cbn.com/2019/2/7/news/life-update-whats-going-on-with-diego-loyzaga-47264).
Teresa explained that his time away from showbiz will definitely yield positive results in the future.
“Hindi ba, sabi kasi nila minsan na, ‘Absence makes the heart grow fonder'. Maybe it’s a way [for him] to appreciate more what he has, to appreciate more 'yung pelikula natin, ang pelikulang Pilipino, ang industriya natin, ang bawat isa sa atin," he said.
Diego was part of the 2017 barkada-thriller "Bloody Crayons."
We will wait for your comeback, Diego!
