All in 2019: LizQuen

Everyone will agree that 2019 was a wonderful year for Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.

Following the success of their fantaserye “Bagani,” they opened 2019 with a bang with the much-anticipated ABS-CBN Films, Black Sheep-produced romantic drama “Alone/Together.”

It was also during that time that they finally confirmed that they have been in a relationship for a couple of years. They dropped that kilig bomb on us in a guesting on “Gandang Gabi Vice.”

This year also gave our beloved couple some tough challenges.

Liza withdrew from the upcoming reboot of “Darna” due to a finger injury. She needed to fly to the U.S. for multiple surgeries. Enrique accompanied her throughout the entire trip.

Upon the couple’s return to the country, Liza went back to school. Not long after, she was nominated by T.Y. Candlers in its annual list of the Most Beautiful Faces for 2019.

Of course, who could not forget Liza’s fangirling moments throughout the year? From BTS to Blackpink, regardless if it’s in Hong Kong, U.S. or South Korea, she travelled the world for her favorite K-pop superstars.

In September, Liza and Enrique donned matching modern Filipiniana outfits for the 2019 ABS-CBN Ball.
