Kathryn Bernardo has added another feather to her cap when she was included in the People of the Year list along with 15 other personalities, released by renowned magazine People Asia.
The local magazine unveiled their People of the Year issue on Instagram yesterday, December 18. The 16 people on the list were chosen based on how they stood out and made a difference in their respective fields.
Among them was Kathryn, who was recognized for her exceptional prowess in film after becoming the undisputed Box Office Queen of her generation
Other people included in the list were music legend Lea Salonga, Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, Dubai-based designer Michael Cinco, Dr. Vicki Belo, and more.
Kathryn immediately took to Instagram to express her gratitude towards PeopleAsia, feeling very honored to be featured alongside some of the country’s most influential names.
“Somebody pinch me...is this even for real?! 🥺 Ending 2019 with nothing but a grateful heart. Thank you, PeopleAsia, for including me in your list! I am honored to be featured alongside these inspiring people who continue to make a difference. 🙏🏽❤” she wrote in the caption.

Kathryn most recently starred in the worldwide blockbuster hit and now the highest grossing film of all time “Hello, Love, Goodbye” alongside Alden Richards.
