Boy Abunda just broke his silence following the death of his mother, Licerna Abunda.
During the episode of “Tonight With Boy Abunda” last night, December 9, the television host opened up about his beloved mother’s passing.
He said, “Sentro po ng buhay ko ang aking ina. I am surrendered to the will of God, but I don’t know how I’m going to move on. I continue to commit myself to work, dahil ito po ang nagpapasaya sa aking ina.”
“Ayoko pong hindi harapin ang pain na ito. I want to confront it, I want to meet it head on. Kailangan damdamin ang buong process ng pain, because I don’t want to be overpowered by it,” Tito Boy continued.
In the final words of his statement, Tito Boy promised his mother that he will continue striving to make her proud.
“Nanay, wherever you are, I will continue to make you proud. I dedicate to you my work, I dedicate to you my life, and I promise to take good care of my family,” he concluded.
Nanay Lesing passed away last week after months of battling dementia. Her family brought her remains back to her hometown in Borongan, Samar just this week.
