Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil had an adventure when they shot their upcoming teleserye in Croatia.

In a press interview during the ABS-CBN Christmas Trade Event last week, the reel-to-real life couple opened up about their experience while working on “Make It WIth You” in the European country.

According to Enrique, he learned a lot about the history and culture of the Croatian people during their stay.

He shared, “It was a fun experience. I must say grabe rin ang pagtingin ko ngayon sa Croatia.”

“I really didn’t know much about Croatia but when we got there we got to meet the people, got to see the history and the culture and I must say iba ‘yung respeto ko sa mga Croatians and it's a beautiful place,” he continued.

Liza, on the other hand, emphasized just how unique their upcoming project is compared to their previous shows, revealing that their roles are much more mature this time.

“In the series, it's definitely a bit more mature for us especially for me, parang ang laki na rin ng maturity ng character ng ginagampanan ko ngayon. It's also something very light, something the audience will enjoy to go home to every night and look forward to,” she said.

People may also acquire values and lessons from the story, making it perfect for families.

The actress added, “There's a lot of moral values and lessons [that] they will learn in the show. As always naman, we always try to implement that. It's something fun and it's something very light for the audience.”

Enrique also shared, “I think lahat kayo makaka-relate kasi it's a journey talaga, journey ng isang tao. I think maraming makaka-relate and it's really interesting."

“Make It With You” will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and Richard Arellano. It is slated to premiere next year. Liza and Enrique topbilled the ABS-CBN Films, Black Sheep-produced romantic drama flick “Alone/Together,” released last year.
