5 iconic Bea Alonzo definitely worth rewatching!

From her stunning looks to her excellent acting prowess, it’s no wonder why Bea Alonzo is considered as one of the country’s top-caliber actresses.

From her early days as a talent of Star Magic until today, she has always proven that she is worthy of all the titles and awards that have been presented to her.

As we enjoy her portrayal as Mariel in the film “Unbreakable,” let’s all look back on five of her most iconic films through the years.

“One More Chance”

This 2007 film is an all-time favorite. Popoy (John Lloyd Cruz) and Basha’s (Bea) up-and-down love story taught us that not all romances start out looking like they will end in happy endings. Love needs compromise as you turn its bitter realities into something far greater.

Witness Popoy and Basha’s love story here.

“Four Sisters and a Wedding”

We all have issues with our families and when life becomes too much to handle, we can all turn to this iconic Cathy Garcia-Molina-helmed family drama for catharsis. This film reminded us to be more open with our families for they will always be there to guide us through life’s toughest situations.

Bea’s monologue during the film’s final confrontation is iconic and you can revisit it here.

“The Mistress”

The romantic melodrama “The Mistress” presents the one-of-a-kind love story between JD (John Lloyd) and Sari (Bea). With his good looks and natural charm, JD always got the attention of women. Despite being rejected by Sari numerous times, he was still determined to pursue her and then... he discovered her deep, dark secret.

“A Second Chance”

Everyone deserves to have a second chance, and the same applied to Popoy and Basha’s love story.

Following their fairytale wedding, this sequel explored the couple’s struggles with married life.

“She’s The One”

This 2013 film looked into the lives of childhood best friends Wacky (Dingdong Dantes) and Cat (Bea) whose friendship gets tested following a misunderstanding. After spending time with other people, they realized that they have always been in love with each other.
