"Unbreakable" paved the way for two movie queens, Bea Alonzo and Angelica Panganiban, to finally come together on the big screen, and Bea couldn't be more grateful for that.
During the grand media launch of the upcoming Mae Cruz-Alviar film held yesterday, November 20, Bea expressed her joy on finally getting the chance to work with her good friend after years of being in show business.
"Alam mo 'yung salitang masaya na makatrabaho siya is an understatement. Para sa akin it's an honor," Bea enthused.
"Tuwing nagkaka-eksena kami, minsan na-iintimidate pa rin ako sa acting na binibigay niya," she admitted. "To be able to do scenes with her now, iniisip ko, grabe ‘no? Na-achieve din namin finally!"
Bea also revealed that being on set with Angelica was a breeze, and that the actress treated her like a family member.
"Ang sarap kasi ang daling magtrabaho. Masaya ako na umabot kami sa ganito, na pinagdaanan namin ‘yung journey ng pagkakaibigan. Ipaglalaban ka niyan. She’s very sweet, very thoughtful. Parang ituturing ka niyang pamilya," she said.
Helmed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, "Unbreakable" also stars Richard Gutierrez, Ian Veneracion, Joao Costancia, and Anthony Jennings. It will hit cinemas nationwide this November 27!
