Albert Martinez is not slowing down! We’ve seen him on “The General’s Daughter,” and now he's making a comeback on "Kadenang Ginto."
During the press conference for the finale of “The General’s Daughter” a few weeks back, the veteran actor gave us the reason why he has remained one of the most sought after actors in the industry.
He said, “It’s just that I love what I do.”
Albert continued, “It’s my passion. I enjoy working. I enjoy creating characters. I enjoy reading the comments of other people kung ano ‘yung nagawa ko sa character ko. Parang it gives me the fuel on how to do things.”
He might be regarded as one of the greatest icons of this generation, but he remains humbled and thankful for every person who has trusted him with a project.
“Siguro, number one, narito pa rin ako because of Dreamscape. They have been there for the longest time since coming from another network. Noong pumunta ako dito for ‘May Bukas Pa,’ dere-derecho na,” the actor expressed.
He added, “I’m very thankful sa lahat ng comments niyo na nababasa ko, and I’m very thankful sa ABS-CBN and Dreamscape. All these years, hindi niyo ako pinapabayaan. Maraming-maraming salamat po.”
Albert has starred in various Kapamilya teleseryes: aside from “The General’s Daughter” and “Kadenang Ginto,” he also appeared on “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” “La Luna Sangre,” “The Good Son,” and “Bagani.”
He also took part in several movies, such as “Born to Love You” and “Ang Panday.”
