Claudine Barreto just opened up about her hilarious blunder from 16 years ago!
During a recent interview with DJ Jhai Ho in the talk show “Showbiz Pa More,” the Optimum Star looked back on a live episode of “ASAP Mania,” which aired in 2003. In the telecast, Claudine was delivering the opening spiels while walking, when she accidentally tripped, prompting her to utter a vulgar word.
When asked about the video, which now has millions of views, the actress said in jest, “Excuse me, at least nauna ako sa YouTube!”
“Tao lang po, nagmumura rin!” she added.
According to Claudine, she immediately went to the technical booth to personally apologize to Johnny Manahan, fearing that she and the program may face sanctions from the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board.
“Alam mo, after noon, pumunta ako sa booth ni Mr. M (Johnny Manahan), tawa siya nang tawa, akala ko masu-suspend ako ng MTRCB, thank God hindi,” she recalled.
Claudine further explained, “At least makikita talaga ng tao ‘yung totoong Claudine kasi, siguro kapag nangyari ‘yun sa inyo, ‘yun rin ‘yung masasabi niyo.”
“‘Yun lang ‘yung maganda. Wala akong image, so na-accept naman ng tao. Kasi alam nila, ‘siya ‘yung tipong nagmumura,’” the actress continued.

Claudine’s last movie outing was the 2015 flick “Etiquette for Mistresses.” Last April, she made her television comeback in a “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode, alongside Jameson Blake.
