Moira Dela Torre will join forces with the one and only Regine Velasquez for the theme song of the upcoming Bea Alonzo-Angelica Panganiban-Richard Gutierrez movie "Unbreakable."
The singer shared the good news at the digital conference of her MTV EMA Seville 2019 nomination today, October 28. According to Moira, she and Regine have already started recording the song separately.
"Since hindi pa po kami nagre-record together, ni-record po muna 'yung whole song. Okay naman po. I heard what she's going to do and it's really our own takes together," she said.
Moira has nothing but praise and appreciation for the Asia's Songbird whom she admitted has "adjusted" with her vocals.
"Siya po kaya niya mag-adjust [with her voice]. Ako, hindi ko kaya mag-adjust [kaya siya nag-adjust for me]," she joked. "Pero nahati naman po 'yung song nang maayos. I really liked the song and masaya naman po kantahin. Hindi naman ako namatay."
She added, "I really love Mama Reg because she's so versatile. She's so amazing. She's a legend for a reason."
Before their first musical collaboration together, Moira and Regine have worked together in "Idol Philippines" as two of the panel of judges.
"Unbreakable" is slated for release on November 27 in cinemas nationwide.
