Here’s the role Aga played in Juliana and Andres’ prom date!

Aga Muhlach finally shared how exactly he got involved in his son Andres Muhlach and Juliana Gomez' iconic prom date.

In an interview last June, Juliana's mom Lucy Torres-Gomez revealed that it was Aga who approached Richard Gomez to get their kids together.

The legendary actor then went into detail on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" last Friday, October 25, on how the whole phone call between him and Richard played out.

"Tinawagan ko si Goma, eh. Sabi ko, 'Goms, may sasabihin ako sa'yo pero 'wag kang matatawa. Pwede bang i-date ni Andres si Juliana?" he shared.

"[Ako nagsabi] kasi hindi alam ni Andres kung papaano. He wanted [to ask her out]."

Aga revealed that Andres actually got nervous about what Richard would say. He said, "So noong tinawagan ko, sabi ni Goma, 'Okay lang 'yun!' Oh, Andres, okay daw!"

Although both dads were involved in their prom date, Aga said that they let their kids take the reigns on their own love life.

"Sabi nga ni Goma, bahala sila. Hindi ako mangingialam diyan!" he joked.

"They're friends. Okay sila. Magkakaibigan sila. Juliana's into sports, Andres is into sports too," he added.

Aga and Goma seem like the coolest dads ever, huh? ❤

Aga last starred in the 2018 romance film "First Love" alongside Bea Alonzo.
