Nearly a year after his transfer to ABS-CBN, Raymart Santiago finally talked about his new status as a Kapamilya actor!
During the grand media launch of “Starla” last Saturday, September 28, the actor opened up about his decision to switch networks.
“Tinawagan nila ako. Nag-offer ng role. Ang ano ko naman sa kabilang istasyon, wala naman talaga akong kontrata sa kanila. Ever since i started, wala talaga akong kontrata,” he shared.
The actor continued, “They offered ‘Starla,’ tinanggap ko naman agad dahil wala naman akong ginagawa that time sa kabilang istasyon.”
Right after appearing on ABS-CBN’s Christmas Station ID last year and while preparing for the teleserye, Raymart was also offered to appear on the hit primetime series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
He said, “‘Yun, tapos tumawag na rin ang ‘Ang Probinsyano,’ nagsabay ‘yung dalawang teleserye.”
“Masaya ako na tinanggap nila ako, at kinuha nila ako,” he ended.
“Starla,” which is topbilled by Judy Ann Santos, will air on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida block starting on Monday, October 7, right after “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
