Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil will soon be making their teleserye comeback in "Make It With you" and it will be a touch different from the projects they have done before!
In an interview with ABS-CBN News following their arrival in the Philippines last Monday, October 14, the reel-to-real life couple expressed excitement and happiness over their new teleserye "Make It With You," which will focus on the lives of Filipinos working in Croatia.
"We're really excited. This is something very new to us. We're really excited because we haven't done a teleserye in more than a year now," Liza said.
Meanwhile, Enrique added, "We're also happy to be back and excited to start taping here."
For the past three weeks, the couple stayed in the European nation to film scenes and immerse themselves with people who have had similar experiences to the characters they are portraying.
"My character is an OFW (Overseas Filipino worker). We know the stories on OFWs, so parang pagdadaanan niya lahat ng hirap na pinagdadaanan nila," the actress stated.
The actor, on the other hand, revealed, "There's something about my character that strikes me. I feel a connection with him. It's like, iba 'yung tingin niya sa buhay. Iba 'yung perspective about life."
The series, which will now continue production in the Philippines, is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and Richard Arellano under the Star Creatives unit.
Liza and Enrique's last television series was the primetime fantaserye "Bagani" which ended its run last year.
Their last big screen outing was in the ABS-CBN, Black Sheep-produced movie "Alone/Together," which was released in February this year.
