KZ Tandingan is no longer pushing through with her series of concerts in the United States.
In an Instagram update last Friday, September 27, the singer shared the official statement of Cornerstone Entertainment, her management team, over the cancellation of her scheduled shows in California and Texas.
The team cited the failure of the concert promoter to “comply with its obligations, protocol, and show requirements.”
Meanwhile, KZ’s colleagues and fellow artists, including Daryl Ong, Bugoy Drilon, Liezel Garcia, Barbie Almalbis and others, comforted the singer by giving words of encouragement.
Concert King Martin Nievera even left a lengthy comment, urging the singer, whom he considers as a daughter, to stand up and move on.
He wrote, “Do not think for one second that any of this was your fault. It was not. These things happen to the best of us. I have a long list of mess ups just like this, but what I didn’t have was the social media to explain and apologize. You do. You have. Now let’s move on.”
“We all fall my KZ, so now wipe the dirt off of your adorably tiny knees, stand up and run, don’t walk to your next exciting project! You are a champion, and to be a champion, you need lessons like these to make you stronger. Now you are stronger! I am with you my daughter through good times and bad. No matter what! I love you!” the singer continued.
KZ first rose to fame after emerging as the winner of “The X Factor Philippines” in 2012.
Just last year, she participated in the Chinese television series “Singer.” She also remains as a regular performer in the Kapamilya musical variety show “ASAP Natin ‘To.”
