Named by Harper Bazaar as one of the real-life "Crazy Rich Asians", Heart Evangelista might have just landed a part in the groundbreaking rom-com's sequel "China Rich Girlfriend". Or at least people think so.
The actress flew to China yesterday, January 8, sparking rumors that the vacation is actually a filming expedition. If the rumors are true, she'll be the second Filipina actress to star in "Crazy Rich Asians" series following Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, who played the role of Princess Intan in the first film released in 2018.
Heart starred in a host of films produced by Star Cinema in the early 2000s, cementing her place in pop culture for the rest of time with 2001's "Trip", 2002's "Jologs", the 2003 films "My First Romance" and "Ang Tanging Ina", as well as 2004's "Bcuz Of U". We can't wait to see her take the international stage by storm!
