5 of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla's favorite Netflix shows, for your viewing pleasure

Feeling a little lost on Netflix? Say no more as "Tambay ng Neflix" couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla have released a list of their favorite, most binge-worthy series right now! Mind you, these two seem to be big on psycho-thrillers and true crime shows. Daniel explained on Star Cinema Chat last night, "Gusto namin 'yung medyo psychotic killer na genius din at the same time." So if that's your speed then read on to find out which shows the stars of "The Hows of Us" have on their Netflix list.

1. "Wild Wild Country"

We all have that one friend who would not shut up about a show that he's obsessed about. That's Daniel for this Duplass Brothers-produced docuseries, which he's been trying to convince his girlfriend to watch.

Why this show is interesting:

"Wild Wild Country" is about Rajneesh, a controversial Indian guru who built an intentional community with his followers called Rajneeshees in Antelope, Oregon back in the 80's. Rajneeshees had a lot of tenson with the people of Antelope, a situation which led to the first bioterror attack in the US.

2. "Black Mirror"

"Paborito namin 'yan," Daniel says of the widely popular sci-fi show. They way their eyes lit up when they mentioned this series will make you wonder which episodes are their faves.

Why this show is interesting:

"Black Mirror" is an anthology series which features stand-alone episodes, all of which explore the often-horrific consequences of technology. It'll mess your head up, but in the best way possible.

3. "Evil Genius"

Kathryn and Daniel's love affair with psycho-thrillers is a definite surprise, but one that we could all relate to. Who doesn't love binging on crime shows? Celebrities, they really are just like us especially when it comes to having morbid interest in bank robbers whose heads are blown off with bombs.

Why this show is interesting:

"Evil Genius", another Duplass Brothers production, is about Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong, the woman who was convicted of masterminding the infamous "pizza bomber" case, where a pizza delivery man attempted to rob a bank while an explosive (which eventually did go off and kill him) was strapped around his neck. Netflix described the case as "America's Most Diabolical Bank Heist" and if that doesn't prompt you to immediately go watch this show, nothing will.

4. "Making a Murderer"

Numero dos (that's a "Can't Help Falling in Love" reference, by the way) on this pair's psycho-thriller spree is "Making a Murderer", one of Netflix's most popular shows to date which first premiered back in 2015.

Why this show is interesting:

"Making a Murderer" follows the story of Steven Avery, a man who was unjustly convicted of a crime he didn't commit in 1985 and served 18 years in prison. Two years after his exoneration, he was once again put behind bars after being accused of murder. It's a story of corruption within the police force, and the criminal justice system and it's a tried and true binge-worthy series that you definitely need to watch (if you haven't already). Fun fact: show creators Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos worked on this docuseries for 10 years. Iconic.

5. "The Confession Tapes"

"Gusto ko kasi siya panoorin, pero hindi ko kaya mag-isa," Kathryn revealed when her on-and-off-screen leading man mentioned this true crime docuseries as one of their faves. Just the thought of them snuggling up to watch this show has us clamoring to propose this series to our SOs as a date night special.

Why this show is interesting:

The "Confession Tapes" explores the story of convicted criminals who were put away through "involuntary, coerced, or downright false" confessions. It's a favorite among true crime fans as it explores the psychology of why people confess to things they didn't, you know, do.  It's not for the faint-hearted but it does boast a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, so it's definitely worth checking out.

Now you can also watch some of Kathryn and Daniel’s films on Netflix! “She’s Dating the Gangster” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love” are now available on the streaming service as are 12 other Star Cinema movies: “The Breakup Playlist”, “Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy”, “It Takes a Man and a Woman”, "The Mistress", "A Second Chance", “My Ex and Whys”, “Beauty and the Bestie”, “Bride For Rent”, “You Changed My Life”, “Four Sisters and a Wedding”, "Ang Tanging Ina N'yong Lahat", and “You’re My Boss.”
