"Tres" actress Assunta De Rossi explained why she apologized to leading man Luigi Revilla after shooting a kissing scene for their upcoming three-part action anthology film.
In their episode "Amats", Assunta plays Shelley Roxas, a leader of a drug gang.
In their grand media conference held last Monday, September 24, Assunta shared, "'Yung mga galamay ko parang ginagawa kong kasangkapan. And then pumasok sa buhay ko si Louie (Luigi Revilla)."
Louie's family is in an impoverished situation, and it so happened that he met Shelley, who would change his life.
"Na-in love ['Yung character ko] talaga pero at the same time ginagawa niya pa ring kasangkapan 'yung bagets (Louie)," she continued.
Luigi was then asked by the media why Assunta apologized to him. To which he answered, "[Because of our] torrid kissing scene. Never ko pong makakalimutan 'yun."
What made the scene more awkward was that they shot it during their first day of filming. Assunta said, "Baka pinlano na din 'yun ni Direk Dondon Santos para mawala na agad 'yung inhibitions."
And Assunta, being Luigi's senior in showbiz, made sure the young actor was comfortable.
Assunta related, "I told him na he could trust me naman kasi medyo may mga sensitive scenes, eh, ayoko namang maging uncomfortable 'yung leading man ko. I try my best naman kung sino mang co-actor ko to feel comfortable. Na parang 'Uy, hindi 'to personal, ah?'"
Meanwhile, Luigi was all praises for his beautiful leading lady.
"She's very, very, very professional. And she made me feel comfortable. And it was so easy," he said.
At first, the 26-year-old actor said that he got nervous after reading the scenes he had to do with Assunta, but once they did the takes, it all felt easy. "Nung nandun na, sobrang dali lang, parang wala lang. It was fun doing the whole film actually, especially with her [Assunta]."
