'Miss You Like Crazy:' Batu-bato sa langit, ang tamaan, baka ibigin

John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo's film "Miss You Like Crazy" not only gave us an excuse to cry our little hearts out in cinemas when it was first released back in 2010, it also portrayed a unique five-year love story between the characters of Allan and Mia.

It was five whole years of starts and stops, of laughter and heartbreak, and it was all built on the foundation of rocks. Yes, you read that right. Rocks, where Mia would write her feelings on (with a very high-grade marker LOL) and leave in a Pasig River ferry boat, where Allan would then pick it up.

Of course, their story also involves Allan's indecision about his live-in partner, Daphne (played beautifully by Maricar Reyes) and Mia, of course, left the Philippines for Malaysia. But if you think about it, without the little rock messages that started everything, Allan and Mia's whole romance would be an impossibility. Fate, ika nga nila, works in rocky ways.
