Bryan Revilla had to strip for a 'Tres' scene - here's what he thought about it

Bryan Revilla, the eldest among action star Bong Revilla's three sons, has shared some fascinating details about their new and anticipated action film "Tres".

"Tres" is a three-part action anthology series, which is composed of the films "72 Hours" starred in by his brother Jolo Revilla, "Amats" led by Luigi Revilla, and "Virgo" where Bryan himself is the protagonist.

In a media conference held earlier today, September 11, Bryan, who faced the press again 10 years after his last film, was happy to be back in the grind.

For his episode "Virgo," which was directed by Richard Somes, the same director who helmed "We Will Not Die Tonight" starring Erich Gonzales, Bryan shared:

"Marami kaming barilan dito sa pelikula, so I found out how many rounds we actually shot ng [bullets]. We shot at least 2,000-3,000bullets for the whole film. So, if you're looking for something that's action-packed, 'yung may suspense, please watch this."

Bryan also revealed that there was a scene that he needed to take his clothes off.

He said, "Nung una kasi dapat may damit talaga ako nun eh. Pinag-usapan namin ni Direk Richard Somes, 'paano ba 'to, should I wear a shirt o wala na?' 'Bry, wala na lang,' sabi ko, 'Direk baka mamaya kita 'yung mga bilbil natin dyan.'"

"Pero ' I think hard work really pays off. Isa 'yun sa pinaka-highlight ng films, eh, 'yung fight namin ni Kikoo Matos, that fight scene was shot for two days. Nagkatamaan kami dyan," Bryan continued.

Of course Bryan told this story to his grandfather, Ramon Revilla Sr., who is also an established action star in the country. According to Bryan, Ramon Sr. asked him, "Ano, mahirap mag-action 'no?" and he could only reply, "Totoo. Masakit sa katawan."

He also related, "[Sometimes] I would come home with bruise [after filming], then minsan may mga kalmot pa 'yan kasi  natamaan."
