Just a month after her latest drama "Clean With Passion For Now" was announced, "Love in the Moonlight" female lead actress Kim Yoo Jung was diagnosed with hypothyroidism (having the poor ability to produce thyroid hormone that can cause depression and weight gain) last February.
This eventually compelled the 18-year-old actress to temporarily withdraw from her daily activities to undergo treatment.
In a report by Soompi, her agency released a statement regarding her illness, saying, "After much discussion with the production team, we have made the decision to focus treatment for now. As it is a project that she has prepared hard for with much affection and passion, she will return to filming once she has recovered."
Meanwhile, five months later, on Saturday, August 4, Kim Yoo Jung gave an update regarding her condition that surely made her fans breathe a sigh of great relief. "Thank you. I'm in much better health, and I'm smiling more these days. I'll soon be able to see you all at a closer distance. Thank you everyone for waiting," she wrote on her official Instagram account.
With her smile as beautiful as her bouquet, I guess it's safe to say that "Clean With Passion For Now's" premiere in November is certainly happening.
