Lasing Confessions from our fave Star Cinema movies!

By Chandral Selim and Regina Tabora

We’ve all had our drunk confession moments, from drunk texts to exes to unfortunate drunk confrontations which either ended in tears or, if we’re being honest, someone throwing up in the middle of the street somewhere. And you know what, Star Cinema characters are no different, sometimes they’re stupid and they embody “drunk words are sober thoughts”, and that’s #relatable all the way.

Drunk confessions are truly one of the best things about being in our 20s, and today as we celebrate International Beer Day, we look back on the best drunk confessions in Star Cinema movies.

Though they barely knew each other, Mace (Angelica Panganiban) and Anthony (JM de Guzman) could talk about anything they wanted, especially drunk thoughts.

Maiisip mo na lang talaga ‘pag lasing at sawi ka, “Magmamahal pa ba ako????”

2. "Always Be My Maybe"

One of the most kilig meet-cutes in cinematic history, Tintin (Arci Munoz) and Jake (Gerald Anderson) immediately confessed all their relationship boo-boos while playing “Have You Ever.”

While it could be scary to bare your whole (drunken) self to a stranger, it could also be a way for you to find true love that accepts and embraces everything about you. ❤

3. "Can’t Help Falling in Love"

Apart from accidentally marrying each other after they got completely smashed, Gab (Kathryn Bernardo) and Dos (Daniel Padilla) had some pretty profound drunk realizations on love.

“Walang sinasayang na oras ang taong nagmamahal,” and “Love makes time,” are some of the truest words ever spoken in a movie.

4. "Everyday I Love You"

Audrey (Liza Soberano) isn't a "walwal" girl, so of course it was messy (but still cute!) when she got sloshed in front of Ethan (Enrique Gil).

The adorable, innocent way she says “Gwapo ka pala kapag nakangiti” could only come from being drunk for the very first time.

5. "My Ex and Whys"

Getting drunk with an ex? That’s the fastest way to get all your deepest feelings out, proven by Cali (Liza) and Gio (Enrique).

Heartbreaking and endearing all at once, Cali got the courage to tell Gio she would’ve married him if he hadn’t cheated - Aray, besh.
