In spite of being one of the most-sought-after actors both in small and big screens, actor Paulo Avelino is planning for an early retirement.
“Parang gusto ko nang mag-retire, sa totoo lang," he said in a report by PEP.
The 30-year-old actor expressed his gratitude towards the people who recognized his hard work and those who opened many opportunities for him, but he also expressed his intention of slowing down after his latest project.
"I'll always be grateful. But it comes to a point when you get to realize na parang gusto ko nang magpahinga talaga.”
Paulo then related to the media his eagerness to challenge himself for self-growth by doing films that can elevate the industry and the people who share the same passion as him.
In 2017, Paulo won the 19th Gawad PASADO Award for PinakaPASADOng Katuwang na Aktor for his film with Angelica Panganiban and Dingdong Dantes, "The Unmarried Wife." He also starred with Bea Alonzo and Derek Ramsay in "Kasal" earlier this year.
