BRB, crying: On his birthday, we remember Dingdong's 'Seven Sundays' speech

Dingdong Dantes has played a lot of iconic characters in Star Cinema movies, but his role as Bryan Bonifacio in “Seven Sundays” is probably one of the most relatable and touching characters ever.

So to celebrate his birthday today, August 2, here is the full transcript of his heartbreaking speech from the movie during a confrontation scene with co-actors Aga Muhlach, Cristine Reyes, and Enrique Gil. (Warning: You will need A LOT of tissues for this!)

“Why are you taking it against me na may narating ako sa buhay? Is it my fault na unlike you and Kuya, I chose to stay and study? Is it my fault na I worked hard para sa kung ano’ng meron ako? Is it my fault that I have the means to help you? Do you even know what I went through, what I had to give up just to help you?

I just wanted to be a good son, I just wanted to be a good brother, to the point that I couldn’t even be a father to my own son.

Kayo lang ang pamilya ko, but why is it you always make me feel like I’m the enemy? Not a brother, not family.”

Lahat tayo relate kay Bryan! 😭😭😭

Catch Dingdong’s return to the big screen this December in “Fantastica: The Princesses, the Prince, the Perya” with Vice Ganda, Richard Gutierrez, Bela Padilla, and more.
