Sharon Cuneta, Aga Muhlach, and Vilma Santos were among the outstanding roster of awardees who were named History Makers at the History Con 2018 yesterday, August 11, in Pasay City.
The “Unexpectedly Yours” actress and the “Seven Sundays” actor were both present to receive the recognition, while the “Everything About Her” star sent a video of thanks.
“I am amongst some of the greatest artists ever in the country, so how would one feel? I’m just so honored,” Megastar Sharon told “TV Patrol,” while Aga expressed, “It’s always nice. I’m so grateful.”
Also present to receive their award were “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso” star Christopher de Leon and “La Luna Sangre” actor Albert Martinez. Lea Salonga and Nora Aunor rounded out the list of History Maker actors.
Launched as an inaugural event just last year, the History Maker Award recognizes an artist’s “significant contribution to the nation’s life and culture.”
“HISTORY Makers are a special few whose talent, efforts, dedication and sacrifices illuminate and inspire the lives of many others,” History Asia further stated.
Congratulations to all the winners!
