Kiana Valenciano isn't taking cruel insults sitting down.
The singer took to Twitter last July 29 to lash out at bashers hiding behind fake accounts after one particular Instagram user @marichivillegas9602 "blamed" her for her dad Gary Valenciano's recent battle with cancer.

Ever the class act, she replied, "Guys, just because you’re hiding behind a fake account, doesn’t mean your true colours aren’t clear as day."
"Whoever you are, you just embraced your true self. How do you sleep at night with all that bitterness and negativity in your heart?"
The tweet has since garnered over 600 likes, and was peppered with supportive comments from netizens.
But while bashers will continue to bash, Kiana and the rest of the Valencianos remain to be a constant source of positivity and inspiration.
Kiana recently spoke about her battle with anxiety and depression, which she overcame with the "help of God, my family, amazing friends and [boyfriend] Sam Concepcion", to inspire others to seek help for their own mental health problems.

Gary, on the other hand, has staged a successful showbiz comeback after battling with kidney cancer and undergoing heart bypass.
He has recorded a couple of theme songs for Star Cinema movies, such as for "Barcelona: A Love Untold," "All My Life," and "Dubai."
